Android Developer (OTT/STB & DVB)

Essential Skill Set:

Languages: C++, JAVA

OS: Android

• Must have good working experience in Android SDK, Android UI, Android NDK, Core JAVA, JNI and C/C++
• Good command on OTT/STB and DVB domain experience
• LIVE/VOD/IPTV and Media Domain
• Extensive experience in working with Eclipse /Android Eclipse Bundle
• Proven experience in Android OTT and STB
• Good experience in Android based phones and tablets Application Deployment
• Good knowledge in streaming protocols (HTTP, UDP, HLS, MPEG ... etc…)
• Experience in Android TIF and Android Middleware
• Having good experience in Open Sources (TV headend, FFmpeg etc…)
• Experience in H/W handling (Flashing and Debugging)
• Good knowledge on Porting and Integration
• Must have knowledge working SQLite
• Good knowledge on working with Multiple Device Orientations

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

• Play key role in Application Design, Development and Deployment of Android Applications
• Experience in Customer Requirements Analysis and Design Solutions
• Identify opportunities for Process Optimization, Process Redesign, or Development of new component solutions
• Exercise independent judgment in Developing Methods, Techniques and Evaluation Criteria for obtaining results
• Work closely with Data Architect, Product Managers, Quality Assurance, and other Engineering teams to deliver the analytic product
• Work in a high paced and rewarding environment with bleeding edge technologies and innovative concepts
• Architecting and logic implementation for the custom UI components
• Analyzing risks and dependencies in AdHoc requests
• Must do Coding and Unit Testing
• Do Code Reviews for Code Optimization when required
• Doing Requirement Analysis and Scalability Analysis
• Enhancement implementation Analysis for existing projects
• Troubleshooting and Debugging
